Casual wear such as shorts, tank tops, swim suits, short-sleeved shirts, sundresses and light slacks are the perfect day-wear fashion at Sandals. At night we become "casually elegant." Proper attire is required at dinner seatings. Elegant dress shorts are permitted in some restaurants.

Sandals features the Caribbean's most comprehensive all-inclusive scuba diving program. Non-certified guests can take a quick resort course and experience the Lesser Antilles Caribbean (Leeward Islands) from a whole new angle.

The entertainment: It goes late into the night at Sandals, and if you like to get to bed early, you'll hear the bands around the resort. It really didn't bother us much, as we enjoyed hearing the music along with the tree frogs. The tree frogs will put you to sleep! Awesome sound.

Pool/Ocean

The pool is absolutely gorgeous. We are usually beach people but there was not a lot of shade there and not many huts. I’m not willing to get up at 6am to get a hut. Most days, all the chairs at the pool with umbrellas were taken. We meet a great couple from Austria and they saved us 2 chairs the last 3 days we were there, so that was great. Every day we went to the ocean 2-3 times a day. My husband snorkeled and collected shells. We walked the beach most every day except the days I was feeling good.

We stayed at the pool every day until at least 6 or 7.

The beach is beautiful. We never had any problem getting a chair under an umbrella or towels. The towels are in small kiosks placed strategically on the beach and by the pool.
Drawbacks are few. If you go expecting quick snappy service then get the butler. It is a laid back island with laid back natives and no one is in a hurry. But the staff are usually very cheerful and there are lots of happy greetings and even singing everywhere you go. There are beach vendors, but if you tell them "no, thank you" they will leave you alone.
Do make time to take advantage of the orientation. It doesn't take long and is worth a few minutes of your vacation time.
We loved it and plan to return as soon as possible.
